what we do
We produce stunning designs delivering the right messages in a wide range of media. That's what we do. What does that mean? Well, it means we get as
much information as we can from our clients, get colours, logos, photography and then mix them all up with our best ideas and roll out our absolute best work every single time.
Although we deliver and design for a wide range of creative media, our basic philosophy is always the same - to deliver gorgeous output to our clients. The day one of our customers
says "Well, I guess that'll do." will be a sad day indeed. At Graphics Farm Ltd we have a genuine passion for what we do and take a great deal of pride in our work. The majority of our work comes from word-of-mouth and we're proud of the recommendations our clients give for no reason other than that they are thrilled with our work.

identity
What is corporate branding? What sort of logo should my company have?
At Graphics Farm, we approach every identity job on a case-by-case basis. Some clients will prefer a logo which illustrates what the company does, other times
we produce logos which are more intriguing.
Whatever style of identity we adopt, we believe that an effective branding is a strong branding and a good logo is instantly recognisable in any situation,
even when reproduced in a single colour.

website design
Having a decent website is no longer a finishing touch to a company's marketing arsenal but one of the earliest and most important impressions a company will make.
Nowadays the first stop for a lot of people looking for a company to undertake work will be the company's website. If your website is out-of-date or
(heaven forbid!) poorly laid out and difficult to use and your competitor's is shiny and professional? Well, you may never get to tell that individual why
you're the better company.

printed literature
We approach printed media with the same flair and passion which we bring to any other type of media.
Some of the techie stuff is different when dealing with imagery for printing, but good design is good design on any media.
We undertake design work for magazine adverts, flyers, corporate stationery, posters, wall planners and even full colour glossy brochures and exhibition stand graphics.
We don't have full-scale printing capabilities in-house which is why we've teamed up with one of the best local printshops we could find -
Ruscombe Printing. Together we can provide a complete solution to any printing requirement.

multimedia
Multimedia applications remain a very popular way to get information to audiences or clients.
At Graphics Farm, we use a range of applications to bring together text, photography, sound, 3D imagery, video and technical drawings in a single resource which
can be deployed on CD-Rom or DVD and executed on any platform.
The majority of the multimedia applications we create execute directly from CD-Rom with no requirement to install any software - the user simply pops it in and away it goes.

technical illustrations
Creating technical illustrations is something we are asked to do with increasing frequency.
We use state-of-the-art 2D and 3D software to create illustrations from simple line drawings to full 3D visualisations.
Creating technical illustrations in this manner allows us to make changes quickly and easily and including "cut away" sections or "fade outs" is easy-peasy.
Our technical illustrations have been used in user guide information, assembly instructions, glossy brochures and we have even created full-blown computer
animations to illustrate technical concepts clearly and simply.

cartoon characters
Well, who ever said we weren't allowed to have fun at work?
It's surprising how often we are asked to produce cartoon characters. They are a great way to grab interest from children and we often use characters to brighten
up "dull" literature such as financial or marketing brochures.
A good character is just that - a character. His or her personality should jump out at you from the first. Once a good character has been designed, we can use
a variety of methods to get him onto the screen or page - from simple coloured line art to fully rigged 3D characters capable of walking, running, talking and well,
everything else you'd expect from a real-life toon.

architectural visualisations
Creating "artist's impressions" has been a popular way of illustrating an end result of planned work for many years. It is often difficult
to picture how a building will look simply by looking at the architectural drawings.
We use the same 3D systems we use to create 3D characters and technical illustrations to create both interior and exterior architectural imagery.
Unlike traditional methods, these images and animations can be quickly and easily modified or updated and of course, it's always a glorious summer's day in 3D-land.

a whole heap of other stuff too...
If it can classified as "graphic design", then we will most likely take it on. This page covers the most popular kinds of work we are asked to undertake, but we have also
created movies, Powerpoint templates, flash animations, training materials, on-line multiple choice tests and even tricky photo manipulation.
Because we have our fingers in a lot of pies, we know how best to produce and deliver the content we create. We often create 3D imagery for inclusion in glossy
brochures which can also be rendered in vector format for use by Flash and included in downloadable PDF documents. We know how to get Flash talking to Director, how to include PDFs
in multimedia applications and how to make video truly interactive.
At Graphics Farm Ltd we know what we're doing and we love what we do. Some days we work so hard we don't even stop for lunch.
